Overview

What Is This Puja?

Land Registration / Plot Puja is the traditional Vedic rite performed when a family takes possession of a new plot of land - typically at the time of registration, mutation, or when the family first visits the plot as its rightful owner. The puja acknowledges Bhumi Devi as the bearer of the land, honours the plot's boundaries, and formally welcomes the land into the family's holdings. Distinct from Bhoomi Puja (which is performed before construction), this is a rite of taking ownership. The ritual moves through purification, sankalp, invocation of Ganesh ji, propitiation of Bhumi Devi, the central honouring of the plot's four corners and centre, and the symbolic act of the family's first contact with the land. At SiddhiStar, the puja is conducted at your plot by a pandit trained in the Narwar Dham parampara. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at the time of booking.

The family's primary member is purified with sacred water and three sips of achaman.

Tilak & Rakshabandhan

Tilak is applied and protective mauli tied on the right wrist of the yajman.

Dik Rakshan

Yellow mustard is offered to the four directions of the plot, securing the boundary.

SiddhiStar Samagri Policy
The SiddhiStar Anushthan Samagri required for the puja is included in the puja price. The family may choose to receive the samagri at home before the puja date, or arrange the required items themselves from a local kirana store or home delivery app. Either option is honoured equally. The Anushthan Samagri is provided for convenience and standardisation, and is not a separate charge or a ritual necessity. Hawan Samagri is separate from the Anushthan Samagri and is available as an optional add-on at an additional charge. If the family opts for a Hawan as part of the puja, the applicable Hawan Samagri will be included and charged separately.

Important Note

Land Registration / Plot Puja is conducted as Ghar Par Puja only, performed at the plot itself. This puja is distinct from Bhoomi Puja (performed before construction); it is the rite of formal ownership rather than the rite of breaking ground. The Kalash, the chowki, the marker stone or nameplate, the four coconuts, the earthen pot, and the hawan kund (where the Hawan add-on is opted in) are arranged by the family.
