Overview

What Is This Puja?

Shani Shanti Puja is a traditional graha shanti observance performed during Shani Dev's transit through the natal chart. Families perform the puja when an astrologer has identified Sade Sati, Shani dhaiya, or a Shani-related observance, as a parampara-prescribed measure of patience and shanti. The ritual moves through purification, sankalp, invocation of Hanuman ji as the protective grace, the central pujan of Shani Dev through traditional offerings of til and mustard oil, the prescribed 28,000 mantra jap, and the closing graha shanti for the family. At SiddhiStar, the puja is performed at home, or as an Online Puja with the family joining live from home. The base puja takes approximately two hours and includes the prescribed jap, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on.

Tilak is applied and protective mauli tied on the right wrist of the yajman.

Yellow mustard is offered to the four directions to secure the puja space.

SiddhiStar Samagri Policy
The SiddhiStar Anushthan Samagri required for the puja is included in the puja price. The family may choose to receive the samagri at home before the puja date, or arrange the required items themselves from a local kirana store or home delivery app. Either option is honoured equally. The Anushthan Samagri is provided for convenience and standardisation, and is not a separate charge or a ritual necessity. Hawan Samagri is separate from the Anushthan Samagri and is available as an optional add-on at an additional charge. If the family opts for a Hawan as part of the puja, the applicable Hawan Samagri will be included and charged separately.

Important Note

The rite includes the prescribed 28,000 Shani moola mantra jap, conducted by the Narwar 1+3 pandit model - one Gurumandal and three Parampara pandits, in parallel under Gurumandal supervision. The family arranges the Shani Dev and Hanuman ji murtis, the black cloth, the kala til, mustard oil, black urad daal, and the hawan kund (where the Hawan add-on is opted in).
