Vyapar Vriddhi Puja

Overview

What Is This Puja?

Vyapar Vriddhi Puja is the rite of the established business seeking its next chapter of growth. Where the New Business Opening Puja consecrates a venture at its birth, Vyapar Vriddhi Puja is performed for the enterprise already running: the shop entering festival season, the firm opening a new branch or line, the business recovering momentum after a flat phase, the annual vyapar puja of the trading family. The rite invokes Ganesh ji for an unobstructed path, seats Lakshmi ji and Kubera ji together in the enterprise for prosperity bestowed and prosperity retained, honours Saraswati ji for sound judgement in dealings, and consecrates the instruments of the business itself: the khata or ledger, the tijori, and the documents of the enterprise. The puja is performed at the business premises or at the family's home, wherever the seat of the vyapar is. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at booking.
SiddhiStar Note
Every trading family knows the difference between a business that is open and a business that is growing. The parampara marks that difference too. The New Business puja asks the divine to bless a beginning; the Vyapar Vriddhi puja asks the divine to bless a becoming: the next branch, the bigger season, the recovery the family has worked for. The khata is honoured because in the household tradition the ledger is not paperwork. It is the biography of the family's labour.
