Navagraha Shanti

Navagraha Shanti is the great jap anushthan of all nine grahas together, each honoured with its own beej mantra chanted to its own sankhya. It is the most complete of the graha remedies, sought when a chart carries several afflictions rather than one, when an astrologer prescribes a general planetary shanti, or when a family wishes to set the whole planetary court at peace at once, at a new beginning, an annual observance, or before a major undertaking. The parampara holds that the nine grahas touch every part of a life, and their combined shanti is the widest net a household can cast: Surya and Chandra, Mangal, Budha, Guru, Shukra and Shani, and the two shadows Rahu and Ketu, each invoked and honoured in its ordained order. Because it carries all nine counts, it is a substantial anushthan, completed by the Narwar pandit team across the days it requires. At SiddhiStar the anushthan is performed by lineage-trained pandits in the shastriya krama, with your name and gotra carried into the sankalp. The count is chosen at booking, and where a devotee wishes to do more, the parampara allows the anushthan to be raised to a sawa lakh. The rite is sealed by the dashansh hawan, and where hawan cannot be arranged, additional jap is completed in its place.
