Pitru Dosh Nivaran

Pitru Dosh Nivaran is the jap anushthan offered for the peace of the ancestors and the release of Pitru dosh, the affliction the parampara reads when the departed of a family have not been given their due rites or rest. It is sought when a family notices recurring obstruction across generations, delays in marriage or progeny, or a heaviness an astrologer traces to unsettled ancestors, and it is the parampara's simplest and most direct upaya for the line. The parampara teaches that the living and the departed remain bound, and that honouring the ancestors with tarpan, the Pitru mantra, and the dashansh hawan settles what is unsettled between them. The mantra bows to the devas, the ancestors, and the great yogis together, offering svaha and svadha, the syllables by which the tradition feeds the gods and the fathers. At SiddhiStar the anushthan is performed by lineage-trained pandits in the shastriya krama, with your name and gotra carried into the sankalp. The count is chosen at booking, and where a devotee wishes to do more, the parampara allows the anushthan to be raised to a sawa lakh. The rite is sealed by the dashansh hawan, and where hawan cannot be arranged, additional jap is completed in its place.
