Bhoomi Puja
A respectful beginning to your new construction - Bhumi Devi acknowledged, Vastu Devta invited, and the foundation blessed before the first stone is laid.
Overview
What Is This Puja?
Bhoomi Puja is the traditional Vedic rite performed before construction begins on a piece of land. Drawn from the Paraskara Grihyasutra and the Vastu Shastra tradition, it is the family's way of asking the earth's permission to build, honouring Bhumi Devi as the bearer of the structure, and inviting Vastu Devta into the home or building that will rise.
The ritual moves through purification of the site, sankalp, invocation of Ganesh ji for an obstacle-free beginning, worship of Sheshnag, the central pujan of Bhumi Devi at the chosen plot, and the symbolic placing of the first foundation marker. At SiddhiStar, the puja is conducted at your construction site by a pandit trained in the Narwar Dham parampara. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking, so the family's lineage is honoured in the sankalp. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at the time of booking.
SiddhiStar Note
“Traditionally, the earth is not seen as inert ground but as a living devata who carries the weight of every structure raised upon her. Before a foundation is dug, before a brick is placed, the family asks Bhumi Devi for permission and invites Vastu Devta into the home that will rise. Bhoomi Puja is that moment of asking - a shubh aarambh in the truest household sense.”

SiddhiStar Samagri Policy
The SiddhiStar Anushthan Samagri required for the puja is included in the puja price. The family may choose to receive the samagri at home before the puja date, or arrange the required items themselves from a local kirana store or home delivery app. Either option is honoured equally. The Anushthan Samagri is provided for convenience and standardisation, and is not a separate charge or a ritual necessity.
Hawan Samagri is separate from the Anushthan Samagri and is available as an optional add-on at an additional charge. If the family opts for a Hawan as part of the puja, the applicable Hawan Samagri will be included and charged separately.
