Ritual Flow

Opening sequence
Pavitrikaran & Achaman
The family's primary member is purified with sacred water and three sips of achaman.
Tilak & Rakshabandhan
Tilak is applied and protective mauli tied on the right wrist of the yajman.
Dik Rakshan
Yellow mustard is offered to the four directions to secure the puja space.

Important Note
A silver or copper naag pratik is required; it is worshipped during the rite and released by the family in flowing water such as the Ganga or any other river after the puja is complete. SiddhiStar's pandit will guide the family on the visarjan procedure. The rite includes the prescribed 42,000 mantra jap (21,000 Rahu + 21,000 Ketu), conducted by the Narwar 1+6 pandit model.
