New Business Opening Puja

Overview

What Is This Puja?

New Business Opening Puja is the Vedic rite performed when a family launches a new commercial enterprise - typically at the home, the registered office, or wherever the business will be conducted from. Distinct from Shop or Office Opening (which consecrate a physical premises), this puja consecrates the business itself as a dharmic activity, regardless of where it operates from. It is particularly suitable for service businesses, consultancies, online businesses, or home-based enterprises without a separate physical workspace. The ritual moves through purification, sankalp declaring the nature of the business, invocation of Ganesh ji, the central pujan of Lakshmi ji and Saraswati ji, the honouring of Kubera ji as wealth-keeper, and the ceremonial first transaction of the enterprise. At SiddhiStar, the puja is performed at the location of your choosing by a pandit trained in the Narwar Dham parampara. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at the time of booking.
SiddhiStar Note
Modern enterprise often operates without a single physical address - a consultancy from a study room, a tech startup from a coffee shop, an export business from a home office. New Business Opening Puja recognises this reality. The puja consecrates the business as an idea taking shape, not just the building it sits in. What is being blessed is the family's commitment to dharmic livelihood, wherever it is conducted from.
