What Is This Puja?

Radha Krishna Puja is the household rite that honours Radha ji and Krishna ji as the eternal divine couple - the archetype of bhakti in the Vaishnava parampara. Most widely performed on Janmashtami as the annual celebration of Krishna ji's birth, and during the Sharad Purnima season as the observance of Radha-Krishna leela, the puja is the family's way of inviting the divine love of Radha-Krishna into the household. The ritual moves through purification, sankalp, invocation of Ganesh ji, the central pujan of Radha ji and Krishna ji together with full vidhi-vidhan, the offering of tulsi patra, makhan-mishri, and ras-bhog. At SiddhiStar, the puja is performed at home, or as an Online Puja with the pandit performing live from Narwar Dham while the family joins live from home. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at the time of booking.

Pavitrikaran & Achaman

The family's primary member is purified with sacred water and three sips of achaman before the rite.

Tilak & Rakshabandhan

Tilak is applied and protective mauli tied on the right wrist of the yajman. For Radha Krishna Puja, gopichandan tilak is preferred where available.

Dik Rakshan

Yellow mustard is offered to the four directions to secure the puja space.

For Online Puja, the SiddhiStar Samagri Kit (Block 1) is included by default, as the pandit performs from Narwar Dham with the kit ready. For Ghar Par Puja, the kit is offered as an optional add-on at booking - the family may receive the kit at home before the puja date or arrange the Block 1 items themselves.

Important Note

Per the Narwar parampara, this puja does not include a structured paath recitation count (such as 11 paath); instead, the Madhurashtakam or Govind Stuti is recited along with the Ashtottara of both Radha ji and Krishna ji. For Ghar Par Puja, the family arranges the Radha-Krishna murti set, the peacock feather and bansuri, the makhan-mishri and tulsi patra, and the hawan kund (where the Hawan add-on is opted in).
