What Is This Puja?

Griha Shanti Puja is the household peace rite, performed when a family seeks the settling of its home: after a difficult phase, amid recurring discord or unrest the family cannot trace, before or after a major transition, or on the advice of an astrologer who has read the family's charts and recommended a general shanti. Where Vastu Shanti addresses the dwelling and its devata, Griha Shanti addresses the household itself: the people within the walls. The Navagraha pujan stands at the centre of this rite, each of the nine planetary deities honoured in ordained order with its prescribed offering as guided by the pandit, followed by the Ayushya mantra jaap for the well-being of every family member, and the sprinkling of consecrated jal through the home. The puja is conducted at your home. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours, with Hawan offered as an optional 30-minute add-on at booking.

Pavitrikaran & Achaman

The family's primary member is purified with sacred water and three sips of achaman before the rite.

Tilak & Rakshabandhan

Tilak is applied and protective mauli tied on the right wrist of the yajman.

Dik Rakshan

Yellow mustard is offered to the four directions to secure the puja space.

The SiddhiStar Samagri Kit (Block 1) is offered as an optional add-on at the time of booking. The family may choose to receive the kit at home before the puja date, or arrange the Block 1 items themselves from a local kirana store or home delivery app. Either option is honoured equally; the kit is a convenience layer, not a ritual necessity.

Important Note

Griha Shanti Puja is the household peace rite, with the Navagraha pujan at its centre and the Ayushya mantra jaap for every family member. It is distinct from Vastu Shanti, which addresses the dwelling and its devata; the two are complementary and are often performed together or in sequence. This rite does not include the extended jap anushthans of the dedicated graha shanti pujas (such as Shani Shanti); where an astrologer has prescribed a specific graha's jap-based shanti, that dedicated puja
