Griha Shanti Puja

The Navagraha-anchored purification of a home afflicted by energetic disturbance restoring harmony, health, and peace to the household through planetary propitiation and space consecration.

Griha Shanti Puja

Overview

What Is This Puja?

Every household exists within the field of the Navagraha, the nine celestial bodies whose configurations at any moment shape the experiences of the people who live under a given roof. When the planetary field is disturbed through inauspicious dashas, transits, or eclipses, the home itself becomes a site of that disturbance. Griha Shanti Puja is the ritual recalibration. It propitiates all nine planets with specific mantras, offerings, and grains, asking them to restore their benevolent aspects to the household. Unlike Vastu Shanti, which addresses spatial disharmony, Griha Shanti addresses cosmic disharmony, the alignment between the household and the planets. The two poojas are often performed together when a household is experiencing difficulty, because most persistent problems have both spatial (Vastu) and cosmic (Graha) components.
SiddhiStar Note
"Griha Shanti is one of the most misunderstood poojas on the market. It is not a cure for every problem. It is a realignment; you are asking the planets to restore their natural relationship with your household. The puja creates the conditions for resolution; the actual resolution requires the family's own efforts."
